Lots going on!
I continue to host weekly meditation classes at the Hive in Paonia, Colorado (Tuesdays, 4:30 pm). The size of the group has doubled since the publication of Love in Action, and we are using that as the basis for the classes. I’m touched by the way class members are applying what they learn. This week we practiced telling each other, “There is no one more worthy of love than you” while touching fingertips. We discussed our experience, and many found it profound.
I’m going to experiment with Facebook Live as a way to share the Hive sessions, so that people who don’t live in the area can participate.
In May, I’ll be facilitating classes based on Love in Action at the Center for Spiritual Life in Delta, Colorado. These will be for 90 minutes on the five Wednesdays in May, from 4:30 to 6 pm. The class is free, but people are encouraged to make a love offering to Center for Spiritual Life. As an aside I’ll mention that I am really impressed by the spiritual community that has developed at Center for Spiritual Life. It’s an honor to teach there.
I’ll also be offering a “lunch and learn” session on hospice work as Love in Action at Hopewest in Delta, Colorado, in October of this year.
Finally, I plan to do more teaching in western Colorado and the Denver area over the next year or so. I have a thought in the back of my mind of offering Love in Action in the Bay area…
I’m also writing regularly, although website updates and putting together what I’ve described above has distracted me a bit. I’m having a good time with Stories of You, and will be sharing excerpts in coming emails.
